January 20 2005 is the second coronation day of aspiring King George.
DAWN March at Malcolm X Park (16th and Euclid Sts NW – nearest to U Street and Columbia Heights Metro Stations) at 9:00 AM. Feeder marches organized by other groups will join the DAWN march at points along 16th Street. From McPherson Square, march participants may join in several actions.

Join actions of Code Pink – Women for Peace – including January 19th 5:30 PM, Black Tie and Boots Inaugural Ball – Join CODEPINK and others for the “Texas BBQ, High On The Hog” creative protest. We’ll corral at Dupont Circle, 5:30pm and herd up to
the 7:00pm Black Tie and Boots Inaugural Ball at Wardman Park Hotel

And on the 20th, The Women’s March & Funeral Procession 9:00am, Dupont Circle, Massachusetts Avenue and P Street- Join CODEPINK in the counter-inaugural women’s march with members of NOW, The Raging Grannies, Ladies of Liberty, and many many more. We will meet with the large DC Anti-War Network RISE Against Bush/SHINE For A Peaceful Tomorrow March which will lead to the White House.
Go to the Progressive Democratic Summit on the 21-23, featuring experienced speakers in the progressive movement, informational workshops, and other useful information for progressive activists and organizations.
