Tiny Little Synchronicity

Tiny Little Synchronicity

I’m in the middle of the interview process for a job. So far, everything is going well. I’ve met some of the people that I would be working with, and have been impressed. I like the company, too. It would be a very interesting and challenging position for me, and I am optimistic about the prospects.

I don’t believe in astrology. Not because I don’t believe that the cosmos is interrelated with the human psyche, but only because I lack confidence in anyone’s ability to translate that into an interpretation.

Still, I do subscribe to one horoscope list. I treat it as a kind of meditation exercise.

This week’s “forecast”:

This is it — the perfect time to make those changes. No matter what they are, or what department of your life you’re hoping to fix, it’s all good. There. Now get busy and just do it. You can’t hope for any better than this.

Heh-heh.

Onwards and upwards, friends. It’s time.

State of Synchronicity

State of Synchronicity

I have always loved the idea of synchronicity. I heard this song for the first time tonight as I contemplated whether to watch the State of the Union Address:

Prodigal son
by Jan Gloeckner

If you find you keep slipping on your tongue
well I got some suggestions to offer you pick one
you can tie it round your neck, like a prodigal son
but you won’t win the game cause it’s already won

could of helped a man who carried his cross
but you sat back and cursed him like you were the boss
thought you won big from the roll of the toss
but you cant win the game cause you already lost
